This past week I ran a series of articles helping you (and me!) get ready for the new school year. Personally, I love this time of year – like Anne Shirley, I excitedly look forward to a whole new year with no mistakes in it yet. We collect our materials, plan our schedules and get everything ready for a new year of learning.
This school year is going to be interesting. My two oldest kids are in their 3rd and 1st year of college, which they will be doing completely online. They will basically be living in our basement which has been decked out for them with desks and a mini-fridge. My son is taking a year off after graduating to figure out his next steps. And that leaves just one left to homeschool – my bouncy, chatty 11-year-old. I haven’t homeschooled only one child since my oldest was about 6. She’s pretty excited to get me all to herself though. 🙂
Here is a recap of all of the articles from the Back to “Home” School series, collected here for easy access.
Also, the following is the link to our “Tea with Emily – episode 4 – Back to (Home) School” from August 23, 2019. In this episode, we chatted about getting organized and prepping for a great school year! (watch Episode 4 video recording here)
