To all of our valued customers,
We wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your continued business through these unprecedented times. We have a few updates and reminders that we wanted to inform you all about.
As long as the internet remains on, you will all continue to have uninterrupted access to all of our digital products with instant electronic delivery of our PDF lesson plans. We are experiencing short bouts of internet lag on our website. We are not positive what the cause is, but it seems to clear up after a few moments. So if you attempt to access our site in the future, and see the spinning loading icon, please give it a minute or try to reload the page.
We are still sending out our Read Aloud Book Club Packs and Family Reading Crates, but we may be limiting our trips the the post office. We just dropped off all pre-orders for the March RABC packs and any other mailings this morning 3/20/2020. Instead of every other day, it may be more like once or twice a week. But rest assured, all of our packs and crates will be shipped out to you in a timely manner. We have not noticed much of any disruption to the USPS mail system yet. All packages seem to be coming and going at the normal pace.
We started our annual Spring Sale two weeks early this year (March 15-31) because we figured there are a lot of people suddenly finding themselves unexpectedly homeschooling due to the current National Emergency and physically distancing. We will be sending out our April Newsletter on April 1st to announce if we are extending our sale a bit longer, as many of you may be experiencing financial challenges due to reduced work hours or other Coronavirus complications.
Homeschoolers still need to homeschool. So far from what we have seen, Amazon and other online retailers seem to be continuing to get their orders out with minor delays, so you should still be able to procure all of your homeschooling materials and books. Don’t forget to support your local independent booksellers at this time. Many have online or curbside shopping options. We have not scheduled any activities that would require toilet paper, as that is one of the most difficult items to get a hold of lately.
Many public libraries have closed for a few weeks, but some have expanded online services availability. Check with your local library to see if they offer additional services. Audible is offering many free audiobooks right now: https://stories.audible.com/discovery, so you may be able to find some material there.
Again, we want to thank you for continuously choosing Build Your Library as your homeschool curriculum source. We appreciate your patience as we work diligently to fulfill orders and develop and source new products. Customer satisfaction remains our top priority. We will continue to provide superior service and product quality that our loyal customers know and love.
Thanks and Happy Reading,
Emily Cook
