Build Your Library on Tour 2019

January 7, 2019

Its that time of year again when we can start to announce our 2019 travel plans so you can try to attend a secular homeschool convention and catch Build Your Library in person. So far, we only have one conference appearance scheduled. We will update this page if any new dates or events come up.

[MARCH 2019 – Williamsburg, VA]

For our fourth year in a row, Build Your Library will be at the 2019 VaHomeschoolers Conference and Resource Fair on Friday, March 22, and Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Fort Magruder Hotel and Conference Center in Williamsburg, VA. This event has been previously held for several years at The Cultural Arts Center in Glen Allen, Virginia, but has now moved to a new venue this year.

Their annual two-day conference usually yields over 1,000 homeschoolers from all around Virginia and the surrounding areas. Attendees will enjoy dozens of sessions featuring speakers (2019 Keynote Speaker: Joy Hakim) and topics ranging from a wide variety of homeschool philosophies and approaches, as well as an exhibit hall (with a Build Your Library vendor booth), used homeschool resource sale and several social events.

[S.E.A. 2019 ??]

We always make the trip out to S.E.A. convention, but as far as we know right now, the S.E.A. (Secular. Eclectic. Academic.) Homeschoolers conference will be on hiatus this year. It should pick up again in the very near future,  possibly Spring of 2020… As soon as they schedule their next event, we will let you all know, and will make every effort to attend.

[More to come…]

If any of you are anywhere near or within travel distance to any of the conferences we are scheduled to be at, we would love to see you in person at our Build Your Library vendor booth. These events always have close and affordable lodging options for those traveling from out of town and are packed with activities and talks to keep you busy.

Please swing by our booth and say hello, grab some Build Your Library swag (BYL bookmarks, pencils, and catalog flyers), talk to us about our homeschool products in person or get a signed copy of my book A Literary Education: Adapting Charlotte Mason for Modern Secular Homeschooling. We might even have some of our Family Reading Crates available too. See you there!
