For the fifth year in a row, Build Your Library has been nominated for the Practical Homeschooling Magazine Reader’s Choice awards! Although we cover K-12, we have been nominated in the “Elementary Curriculum” category.
While I am not particularly one for receiving accolades, I really do appreciate being able to describe Build Your Library as an Award Winning Homeschool Curriculum! Four years ago, our first year nominated, we received an Honorable Mention green badge in 2015. The following three years in 2016, 2017 and 2018, we received Third Place yellow badges.
If you are so inclined and you enjoy Build Your Library, we would love your vote this year!
Voting is open until January 30th. Thank you so much for your support.
Also be sure to vote for the other fantastic secular homeschool curriculum that has been nominated! Real Science Odyssey, All About Reading, Michael Clay Thompson Language Arts – this is a great way to support your favorite homeschool companies!
Build Your Library is a fantastic choice for homeschooling. The author finds wonderful books for each themed level, and then weaves the readings and assignments together so synergistically that history supports science supports art supports geography supports literature supports writing supports history, with optional units in many years. BYL is compatible with classical, Charlotte Mason, eclectic, and many other homeschooling philosophies. You can follow BYL all the way through 11th grade, or move in and out of it as needed. As a former “I will write every program myself and customize all” homeschooler of many years, I am now a HUGE fan of Build Your Library! It is one of the strongest secular offerings available.
