Kindergarten: Around the World Has Been Newly Updated!

October 13, 2016

BYL K Updates

I have spent the better part of the last three weeks working on updating our Level 0 (Kindergarten) – Around the World curriculum, and I am happy to roll out the newest version. If you have already been using this level, already have the required books and are happy with it, carry on! You can still use the original version as is. But if you purchase Kindergarten now, you will be receiving the updated version.

If you are wondering what has changed, I wanted to alter the schedule to include the latest updated edition of Children Just Like Me: A new celebration of children around the world. I also had to replace the now hard-to-find Where the Flame Trees Bloom with Tales Our Abuelitas Told: A Hispanic Folktale Collection, and the older and now out-of-print Usborne cookbook with The Kids’ Multicultural Cookbook (Kids Can!).

Everything else has pretty much remained the same – with the exception of a few minor typos and a replacement activity page to coincide with the Where the Flame Trees Bloom swap.

If you are interested in getting the update, please send me a message with the name and email you used to purchase and I’ll be happy to send you a new download link. Again, if you already have the previous required books in your possession, the previous edition is still valid and you can continue to use it, or use it again. If you want the updated teacher’s guide, you will have to purchase the three new books to match the new set of lesson plans.

I hope you all enjoy the updates!
